About Us

We are an international couple.

My husband is American/Canadian and doesn’t speak much Japanese yet. I was born and raised in Japan, and when I worked in Tokyo, I was in an international company where everything was done in English. Later, when I moved to the U.S. for work, I met my husband.

Our family communication is 100% in English, but since I grew up in Japan, I naturally understand the unspoken social cues and cultural rules here. My husband, on the other hand, sees Japanese culture from an outside perspective, which gives us a well-balanced view. I believe we make a great team.
